Sean Murphy’s new show 'Third Exhibition' is on

Sean Murphy’s new show 'Third Exhibition' is on display in our gallery from March 2 to March 31st. Featuring a varied collection of portraits and figures including some Master Copies, sketches from life, and also still lifes and plein air paintings and drawings.

The gallery is open every Saturday 2pm-5pm.

Starting from today you can put your works on our studio gallery walls!

Theme : figurative & portraiture in any medium.
Maximum 5 pieces each artist.
Size: Newsprint or smaller.

The show will be up till February 24th.

Showing artists also have the opportunity to open the gallery and use the studio space between 2-5 pm every Saturday. If you're interested, you can contact our studio coordinator, Alain Boullard:

Friday Long-pose session --
One 6-hour pose break into two sessions (2 weeks)

Sunday Long-pose session --
Half hour warm up poses, and a 2-hour long pose

I brought my pastels to life drawing for the first time in a long time and had fun making simultaneous portraits side by side. It's an interesting way to try things out and have a place to channel wilder energy. In the end I preferred the wilder one.
