I’m a heavy metal/sci-fi nerd. I studied visual effects, but my day job is tech support. I’m inspired by classic fantasy artists like Frank Frazetta, so you’ll usually see me adding swords & skulls to my life drawings. Don’t let my scruffy and grumpy look scare ya, I’m a rainbow jelly bean on the inside!
Bryce took up painting in order to escape spending too much time on computers and to reconnect with nature and lived experience. His obsession is playing with the alchemy of color. Come paint with him in the Monday Evening session!
Lindsay is a digital artist known primarily for her work on the indie fighter Them’s Fightin’ Herds. She loves stylized art, especially works featuring animals. When she’s not working on game projects with friends, she can be found baking homemade stollen bread.
David returned to the visual arts after a thirty-year career as a theoretical physicist at SFU. Stylized figurative work, such as pop art and graffiti, are closest to his heart. He enjoys discussing the DNA of art: the social and technological contexts that influence changes in artistic styles.
